My Most Favorite Memory

I went to the hospital today for a monthly check up. The doctor said that I was starting to have amnesia. I was devastated. The amnesia I have will let me only keep one memory. So I have to think about one memory to keep.

The one memory I want to keep is my school years at FRA. That is because there are so many memories from this school. They are both happy and sad. The first day of school is where I have met a lot of my life long friends. Their names Russell, Scott, Hannalee, and Lacy, and through the years I have added more friends. Those four friends have been through everything with me.

Another reason I want to remember FRA is because of sports. I have had some great times playing sports. I played football, basketball, and baseball. I remember when I started as a sixth grader in football it was the greatest of my life. I also remember Coach Baute giving me the coaches’ award for basketball. I remember when I got a huge hit in baseball against Lagrange in the sixth grade.
Academics aren’t that great of a memory, but are another memory about Flint River. I remember in the fifth grade when I got the Woodmen of the World award. I was so proud of myself.
The last memory of FRA is the sound of the bell and the sound of the lockers slamming. The books falling out of my lockers because it is so messy always happened to me. Notebook checks were always terrible because my notebooks were out of order.
I think I have made a great decision on my memory. One day I hope there will be no more amnesia. Maybe they will create a medicine that will prevent and cure amnesia.
