I went to the hospital today for a monthly check up. The doctor said that I was starting to have amnesia. I was devastated. The amnesia I have will let me only keep one memory. So I have to think about one memory to keep.
The one memory I want to keep is my school years at FRA. That is because there are so many memories from this school. They are both happy and sad. The first day of school is where I have met a lot of my life long friends. Their names Russell, Scott, Hannalee, and Lacy, and through the years I have added more friends. Those four friends have been through everything with me.
Another reason I want to remember FRA is because of sports. I have had some great times playing sports. I played football, basketball, and baseball. I remember when I started as a sixth grader in football it was the greatest of my life. I also remember Coach Baute giving me the coaches’ award for basketball. I remember when I got a huge hit in baseball against Lagrange in the sixth grade.
Academics aren’t that great of a memory, but are another memory about Flint River. I remember in the fifth grade when I got the Woodmen of the World award. I was so proud of myself.
The last memory of FRA is the sound of the bell and the sound of the lockers slamming. The books falling out of my lockers because it is so messy always happened to me. Notebook checks were always terrible because my notebooks were out of order.
I think I have made a great decision on my memory. One day I hope there will be no more amnesia. Maybe they will create a medicine that will prevent and cure amnesia.

Lessons Learned
I have just finished learning about the Holocaust and the story of Anne Frank in Mrs. Chapman’s class. That was a very brutal time for the Jews, the Polish, and the Gypsies. I mean if a person were to think about it right now they would consider themselves lucky. That is because if someone is being hated because of their race or nationality they are probably just being picked on, but if that person were to be back in the day of the holocaust were hated because of their race or nationality, they would have probably been sent to a concentration camp or killed. I have learned a very important lesson from this. It is to not to be prejudice against other people because of the way they talk, look, act, or what color they are.
Mrs. Chapman is the person that made us learn about these horrifying times, but she had a reason for teaching it to us. The Holocaust made me sick in my stomach. The reason is because the Nazis would torture any Jews they saw walking around. They would come and shoot them, start beating them to death, or they would them and put them in concentration camps. The concentration camps were terrible. Many people would die of starvation, diseases, heat exhaustion, or torture. The Jews would be treated badly in concentration camps. They would be put in heat boxes, gas chambers, or just get shot. The Jews would be forced to sleep in little bitty huts. The huts were meant to hold ten at the max, but there would be more than twenty stuffed in the huts with hardly any air. That is why a bunch of people died. That is because if one person had a disease then got cramped into the small hut, that disease would be spread quickly.
The Holocaust, I am afraid, is still happening to this day. We just need to watch for it happening and try to prevent it. Hopefully the Holocaust and events related to it will come to an end. The most important lesson to learn from the Holocaust is to not be prejudice to other people.

The End of the World!
The North Koreans have just dropped a nuclear bomb on America. It has wiped out the nation. It is a complete devastation. It is up to me to choose what five occupations that I would like keep alive in order to bring the United States back up to the top of the world.
The first occupation I would like to keep alive would be a doctor. That is because doctors can help sick people get better. Doctors can also perform surgery for the people that got wounded by the nuclear bomb.
The second occupation I would like to keep alive would be a farmer. A farmer would be very helpful because he could plant food and raise animals to help feed people. A farmer could also be helpful by moving all of the debris from the bomb.
The third occupation that I would need most would be a builder. The builder would be very helpful. That is because a builder would build all of the houses and companies back up. The builders could also be helpful and build more hospitals for all the hurt people. Also they could help dig graves for all the dead people that did not survive.
The fourth occupation is very important. It is a teacher. The teacher will help by giving all the children an education that survived. After the teacher teaches the students all they need to learn they will be able to bring the whole U.S. back to its feet.
The fifth occupation I would need in order to survive would be would be an animal keeper. The animal keeper is a very vital occupation for the U.S. That is because if we didn’t have one we would all die of starvation. The animal keeper would raise animals and then release them into the wild. They could also sell the animals to a food place so they could make food. When the animals are old enough the animal keepers could release them into the wild. Then that would give people a chance to hunt them.
That is all of the occupations we would need to survive. I hope this doesn’t have to happen in my lifetime.

If I was an animal what would I be?
Chapman also works very hard at trying to teach the students effectively.
