BCS Bowls

The BCS Bowls have been blown up this year. Since everybody has lost 2 or more games it is more difficult to choose who will be able to go to the National Championship. The decision was made LSU and Ohio State would play in the National Championship. I was so mad when I heard about that. I wanted Georgia to go to it so bad. Everything happened for Georgia so they could go. The people did not vote that way though.
In the National Championship LSU has a couple of advantages they are close to home and have 2 good quarterbacks. The Ohio Buckeyes also have a few advantages too. They have a great defense and Ohio is better ranked than LSU. Ohio State is the underdog for the game.
Since Georgia did not make it to the National Championship, they are playing in the Sugar Bowl. They are playing Hawii. It is going to be a hard game but I think that Georgia will win. Georgia is the hottest team in the nation. The Warriors are undefeated. The Warriors are going to need to do some serious prep work to stop Georgia. That is because Knowshon Moreno and Mattew Stafford will put the Warriors' Defense the test. Hawaii's prolific quarterback, Colt Brennan, will be able to take advantage of Georgia's struggling pass defense. These teams match up really well, and this game should be a lot of fun to watch.
The Rose Bowl will be played between Illinois and USC.This might not be as good as the USC-Georgia match up many hoped would occur, but don't sleep on this traditional Big Ten/Pac-10 match up. Illinois runs a spread offense lead by quarterback Juice Williams. Illinois also has the nations 2nd best rusher in the big ten, Rashard Mendenhall. In addition, WR,Arrelious Benn, gives the Illini balance in the passing game. The offensive line is finally healthy and the Illini haven't faced a tight end as big and as fast as Fred Davis. The 2 quarterbacks, John David Booty and Joe McKnight, and Fred Davis will Be hard to stop. But The Illin already have one upset against Ohio State. So maybe they will be able to beat USC. This is going to be a great game to watch.
The Fiesta Bowl will be between West Virginia and Oklahoma. This is a good matchup for Oklahoma. Although the Sooners have given up big plays in the passing game (ranked No. 68 in pass defense), they are very strong against the run (No. 8, 92 yards per game). Oklahoma is not afraid to commit eight men to stop the run and has the speed to match West Virginia's triplets. They are QB Pat White, RB Steve Slaton and WR Darius Reynauds.West Virginia will have to make big plays in the passing game to beat Oklahoma. Offensively, Oklahoma's offensive line will have a size and strength advantage over West Virginia's smaller 3-3-5 stack defense. The Mountaineers have played solid run defense (108 yds/game), but they haven't faced a rushing attack like Oklahoma's that is complemented by a solid passing attack. Oklahoma is the top dog in this game.
The Orange Bowl will be between Virginia Tech and Kansas. This certainly isn't one of the strongest matchups of the BCS bowls. It is probably the weakest matchup in the Bowl Championship Series. Kansas will struggle to score against the fastest defense the Jayhawks will face this season. Virginia Tech's starting cornerbacks, Victor "Macho" Harris and Brandon Flowers, are arguably the best set of corners in the country and have the ability to control Kansas wide receivers.Offensively, the Virginia Tech are playing much better now that they've settled into a comfortable two-quarterback system with Sean Glennon and Tyrod Taylor. The bottom line is that Virginia Tech is too fast on both sides of the ball for Kansas.
That is all of the BCS Bowls now it is time to make my predictions. In the National Championship I think LSU is going to win. In the Sugar Bowl I think Georgia is going win. In the Rose Bowl I think USC is going to win. In the Fiesta Bowl I think that Oklahoma is going to win. In the Orange Bowl I think that Virginia Tech is going to win it.

Stuart,
Is "Sports Announcer" in your future? Although the information was good, I wanted more of your own personal thoughts - not a play-by-pay of the teams in the bowl.
Watch your run-on sentences when you write compounds ("It is going to be a hard game - comma - but I think..."
I can't stand the name Knowshon. What was his mother thinking?
Anyway, I look forward to reading more of YOUR opinions.
